Green Bobine is a French start up, born in 2022, and stems from the passion of 2 friends for the DIY sewing world, truly convinced that we all need to act woth concrete steps for a more durable fashion and world.
A strong conviction and passion drive us !
Coauthors a few years ago of a book "La Couture facile", we have always wished to faciliate the learning and the practice of this manual know how towards the largest number, at a time when the transgenerational transmission has vanished, and when the practice of sewing is no longer the unique preogative of women !
The mission of this entrepreneurial commitment is really to contribute - on a small scale, it is true ! - to change our way of consuming fashion, our behaviour, following decades of excessive overconsumption.
We have been striken, especially following Covid, by the enormous waste in our closets, et by the absolute necessity to repair, personnalize, give a second life to our clothes !
An original, creative offer, accessible to all !
Green Bobine proposes ecoresponsible sewing kits to repair, embroider, personnalize clothes and home textiles, as well as upcycling sewing patternsto transform our clothes into another use, in a, actual, creative and easy way !
Our designs are all exclusive as they are imagined, created, translated into designs, stitches, embroidery colours by ourselves. They are printed on a hydrosluble and ahesive paper to make the use easy for everyone, especially beginners !
Each kit contains, the embroidery threads, a design board (from 8 to 16, according to sizes), and the access through QR code to detailed, educational, illustrated instructions to use, as well as on-line tutorials.
The reparation / upcycling sewing patterns are available in a digitalized version, as well as in a physical version.
We also have different solutions for jeans : from the reparation of fragile zones (knees, crotch...) to personnalization, without forgetting upcycling.

Green Bobine selects its suppliers and materials with great care for their quality, ecoresponsible tracability, geographical closeness, recyclability, always looking for progress paths.
Solidarity is a key pilar.
By working with Esat / Avenir Apei in the Paris area for the printing of documents, the assembly into bags we contribute to the reinsertion through work of handicapped persons, and the social dimension is fundamental to us.
By recycling jeans at the Secours Populaire to transform them into coupons in some of our kits, we contribute to act concretely on sustainability.
